Commercial and Industrial Programs
Building Performance Program (BPP)
The Building Performance Program helps local businesses and property owners lower energy costs, improve building comfort and performance, and reduce their facility’s greenhouse gas emissions. Eligible participants receive a free energy audit that identifies cost-effective energy efficiency and renewable energy opportunities. A post-audit report provides return on investment data, and participants also receive assistance with implementation and rebate applications.
The free services help participants make smart, cost-effective decisions that save money through reduced energy costs and benefit the environment through reduced greenhouse gas emissions.
The Building Performance Program is open to commercial buildings in the city of Boulder with at least 10,000 square feet of conditioned space. Program applicants are asked to provide information about their facility; any energy efficiency efforts made to date, and expected timelines for implementing new cost-effective energy efficiency and renewable energy measures.
